Buster went for a 4mi rollerblade trot the other day, and slightly favored one paw. It looked a little worn, but now appears to have progressed into a crack on both paws.
Its not very deep, and is dry, so I'm not all that concerned with infection, but how do I fix it? Its on the large pad towards the side, which means it does not close itself when walking or at rest. Good for infection control, but its not closing itself...
Since its rather shallow, will it just grow to fill it in, or does it have to be softened and healed back together? He'll be restricted to grass until he feels better of course.
(and the dog booties are under construction.)
