Ah-ha. Now I see. Wow, that must be a chore to take care of. You'd have to really like it or have a groomer. I love Standard Poodles too and little ones. But OMG....I think I'll stick with Dobermans and Chihuahuas (short haired Chi's) for a while. LOL.

I can see how accidents can happen when they move suddenly. I knicked one of my dogs with the Dremel before, right on the pad. I felt so awful. Well, all dogs need something done....more or less.

I groom my two poodles and maltepoo and I have on occasion nicked between the toes. Poodle have webs between their toes, having originally been retrievers, and sometimes trying to get their paws nice and neat one of the web areas gets nicked. I've noticed my red poodle has more delicate skin and is more apt to get a slight boo-boo.:(
