After accepting cashiering and sales jobs the last few years I realize it's dumb being a worker bee when I'm older and more experienced than everybody else.
The last pharmacy I worked at the customers assumed I was the manager above everyone else...jeez worked hard enough for it.
Can somebody give me tips on how to snag an entry level management if not better position in retail??? Know it doesn't take a rocket scientist. One problem is my age. It's a plus because ya have a few decades of experience.
A minus because alot of places didn't keep computer employee histories back in the day. If your work history was documented in paper files, after five, ten years they don't exist anymore, companies close, people retire.
I don't have another twenty or thirty years to start at the beginning. I can look mature, professional and self-confident, I can work hard, get people to listen to me and make customers happy, now how do I get in the door???
