Moving from pottying on grass to pottying on pea gravel - tips?

We are in the process of redoing our backyard with a pool and have removed all of the grass. We are creating a space for her to potty in with pea gravel. We figured it's what the doggy daycare uses, it won't die, and it won't need mowing or watering.

Any tips on helping her make the transition? She's pottied on grass her entire life.

Have you tried taking her to the gravel yet? Maybe she won't mind a bit. But take her on her leash if that's where you want her to go every time. That way she won't wander off to the wrong place. Do you have a command that you've been using to tell her to go? If so, use that and then praise/treat when she goes. If you don't have one, start using one, like, "go pee pee" or whatever (same every time) everytime she goes and she'll learn to make that association between the word and her going. Good luck.
