I'd say it's got some sort of sheep dog in it. I don't think it's a labradoodle.

Unless you've never seen one that hasn't been clipped!! Lol....they look very much like a distant cousin to a sheep dog. I was thinking that more because of it's face - that is very disinctly Labradoodle - as in pic below...

Sorry for the digression but the labradoodle pics remind me of Spanish Water Dogs. I never noticed that before.

Ahhhh!! No, I think it is... I know this really sweet old man who lives around my parents house...and he has a dog just like this...sweetest old dog, his name is RD :) I know, too many details, lol. Anyway... I forgot the breed... it is something ... sheep dog. I want to say it starts with a "W". Ah.... I'm gonna be thinking about it all day long now :)

I agree with Saingirl. I know an Ovcharka owner, her dog looks exactly like the one in the picture. So anyone going after Labradoodles for looks, here's a real breed for you. :D

I say South Russian Ovcharka http://www.southrussianovcharka.com
Ovcharka means sheep dog or shepherd dog.

NOT breed known as OVCHARKA without a Name in front of it

Caucasian Ovcharka shepherds dog
Central Asian Ovcharka - CAS Shepherds dog USA
South Russian Ovcharka Sheepdog

East European Ovcharka GSD Russian Style
Even Old English Ovcharka if you say Old English Sheepdog in Russian it will Be Ovcharka.

We use the translation for the English sites and most places around the world do.
