Guess what Aura brought me this morning?


A very dead half eaten mouse. JUST what I asked for for Christmas! She did it just out of thraness too because usually if she finds something it belongs to her and she won't retrieve it. I love my puppy so much :doh:

She was channeling her inner kitty and bringing you a sign of her affections

Better a dead mouse than turning a live one loose in the house...

My thinking exactly. I have had a few cats do this to me.

Gambit brought a dead mouse one time. He must have killed it during our last walk, because I totally missed it, and only found it the next morning, where my sweetness had oh so thoughtfully placed it next to my pillow as a gift for mommy. He was quite affronted that I didn't see the gift in the same light he did.

Now we have to do mouth checks after our last walk.
