Maybe it's easier to adopt a pharoh hound mix than a pit bull? I dunno, sometimes these shelters make you wonder. They labeled Zeus as a "mastiff mix" when I went to adopt him. Sheesh.

Looks like a pitty to me.

Isn't Zeus Great Dane (or at least Dane mix?)

I wonder if the mother was a known Pharaoh but it got all pit genes? Then again, there are not many Pharaohs running around loose...

Maybe they read where AmStaffs are supposed to have black pigment, so they assumed the coloration must've come from a Pharaoh. Some people really believe that there is nothing outside the AKC breeds.

oops, sorry...thought Zeus looked "Dane-ish" in the siggy you've got. My bad. :0

Of course there are other recognized breeds besides AKC. England/U.K. has more interesting breeds that I've never seen in there registries.

they only give you a front view from that view you are right he looks like a pit to me to maybe we would think different if we could se the rest of him
