Routine

Heya

Well we are getting a border collie puppy around December 5th, and I need to make up some sort of routine, one for when I am home all day, such as weekends, and one were I am at school from around 8 till around half past 3. He will be crate trained and at first fed three times a day until he is around 6 months old. When I am at school, my dad is home and can feed and take the puppy out, but as he is working fromh ome he can't keep a constant eye on the pup or play with it much. We already have an older dog.

Can anyone help?

I think that if you stick to the routine you've already got laid out for your older dog, things will be fine. You'll have to do some necessary tweaking for noon feedings and all.

I would "puppy proof" a room so it can't get itself into trouble though.

How often will it want to go in it's crate to sleep?
