Wow, that's one lucky dog!
Once I was sitting at a very busy, very dangerous intersection, that I would have been terrified to cross as a human being, even with the "walk" signs and everything, and at exactly the right point when the lights were changing and no cars were going, within those EXACT few seconds, a black lab mix ran across the road. The dog made it across without being hit, without so much as a near miss. I sat there with my jaw on the floor of the car in disbelief. And I can tell you that this dog didn't plan this, I was in the right lane waiting to turn right, and the dog was sniffing at the sidewalk, and then all of a sudden ran across the road. It was amazing, the timing.
