Should we buy this puppy?

I know it's easy to fall for an Aussie puppy, but it is so important to get the real facts regarding the healthy of the parents and the puppies. Aussies can have fairly large incidences of hip and eye problems if not properly bred, and the temperments need to be carefully monitored. Some dogs are wonderful workers but aren't cut out to be a house pet. Update: we are not buying the puppy, and they are supposedly going to refund our deposit, however originally they did not want to. So we'll see what happens

I always feel so sorry for the puppies that are bred into those surroundings. I am sure it was a hard decision for you; getting a new puppy is always exciting. But you made the right choice.
