New in Texas and R.I.P. Sassy the Sheltie

Hello -

I decided to join a Dog Forum after the passing of my 15 yr Sheltie.
I have done stranger things in my life.
Just know I miss her and want her back.
I need to get another...
Help point me in the right direction and I'll be a friend for life...

We rescued Sassy from a Canyon Lake Texas breeder in 2000 after the passing of our beloved Sesame.
All we know is she was found and picked up by San Antonio SPCA with no tags and was 4 - 5 years old at the time.
Sadly ... Sassy went to sleep for the last time on Sept 15, 2010.
She was shy and very loyal to me and my wife.
Cody misses his older Sister.
This house we live in is now so empty.
All we know is that we loved each other so much.
Sassy loved the snow ...
We will never forget !!

I know how you feel... I lost my Sheltie several years ago..., and sometimes it still hits me hard...

Welcome to the forum. I lost my dog around the time I joined chaz a few years ago. I now have an amazing 4 year old border collie mix and he is the light of my world. I hope once you get settled in on this forum you'll find that you've made some new friends. I'm very sorry for your loss
