My dad naps all the time. My mom naps frequently.
I'm a nap-and-feel-like-crap napper though. I don't get it. I too have heard about how super short naps are supposed to be far better for you than a long nap. Honestly if I fall asleep for just a few minutes and then get woken up I feel fine, not really tired anymore, but if I seriously nap it's not good.
