Thank you! What is the Essiac?
Ok I found it- some scary stuff though-
(Wikipedia)
Has anyone has success with it? Or heard of anyone who has?
Nothing scary about it. It can't hurt. I've given it to my dogs for years.
I've had success with it. On human and dog
My dad had a cancer lesion in his mouth (he was part of the generation of kids who were treated with a "miracle of modern medicine" -- radiation -- for ear infections. Thanks to using the latest modern medicine of his day, he developed mouth cancer (he's never smoked or used tobacco or any other cancer-friendly habits). The lesion was larger than a quarter and so deep they were going to have to go up into the bony tissue and then do reconstructive surgery. There were also spots showing up on his lungs.
I made him drink essiac twice a day for the three weeks prior to his surgery. When he went in for the surgery, the diameter was smaller than a dime and it was only through the first two layers of dermal tissue.
The spots on his lungs had disappeared.
That was at least 15 years ago.
Before I learned about essiac, Bear had a huge ganglion tumor in his back leg. The vet couldn't remove more than half of it. Three months on essiac and all traces of the remains were GONE.
Shiva had that awful, fast spreading bone cancer. The essiac didn't cure it (and I found out that Charley hadn't been giving it to her every day, just randomly when he remembered :madgo: ), but she went from waking him up at least once a night for a pain pill to not needing any pain meds at all and she got to pass peacefully at home, choosing her own time to go, and she was happy and enjoying life until she laid down under her tree and went to sleep.
See this lump on Kharma's head?
It's GONE. Essiac.
All three of mine are on a maintenance dose of essiac every single day and have been for several years. Bimmer is turning 14 soon. No joint or arthritis problems. He's just now beginning to slow down.
Rene Caisse, a Canadian nurse, took only the cancer and AIDS patients the doctors had written off into treatment in her clinic. With essiac she had over an 80% long term survival/cure rate, without horrible side effects.
Straight up, if I were diagnosed, I'd drink the tea. I don't know if I would do the accepted round of treatments though.
