Raw feeding and hair and nail growth

Smiley's nails and hair grow SO quickly, I can hardly keep up!!

He's also the first dog I've had that is fed raw, and I'm wondering if that is contributing to his extreme hair/nail growth?

Anyone else have this issue?

I feel like I should be doing his nails every night to keep them at a respectable length! I do them once/twice a week and they are "clicky" two days later.

Juno is not raw fed and I could easily clip her nails at least twice a week. It's like I clip them and the next day oh hey, there's a clippable amount again lol.

My other dogs don't seem to have the same issue.

I think it just depends on the dog. I raw fed for 2yrs. and never noticed a difference in nail growth rate. I dremel mine twice a week now and feed kibble.
