Anybody ever try apple cider vinegar for their dogs?
I started adding it my older dogs menu of brown rice, whole chicken and glucosimin mixture and they are starting to bounce around like pups again:D

really ? I haven't heard of this. Will it help my 'old girl"--she will be 12 soon! What exactly does it do--and how much would I add to the water dish?

A couple more along the same lines.

And something very important to remember, it has to be the "gross" stringy one for full benifits.
Many commercial apple cider vinegars have been pasteurized, filtered, refined or distilled in order to make the product look good, and thereby more appealing to the general public. Unfortunately this extra processing destroys much of the healthy goodness and thus many of the apple cider benefits that were in the product in the first place.

I was planning on using it, but worry about how it will affect teeth. My mother was advised not to use it herself because of how it errodes the enamel, and with Wally's teeth being horrendous (well, what's left of them) I'm not sure I want to risk it.
