Well, I was so happy when my vet complimented my Malinois yesterday.
My girl is over 7 years old and the vet said, "She certainly doesn't look like she's an 8 year old dog." The assistant added, "She doesn't act like it either!" LOL!
I've been going to this vet for 4 years, she's more of a natural vet and doesn't like to give vaccinations. She never saw my girl when she was a little terror as a youngster. :rofl1: The first vet my girl ever saw, she latched onto the vets hand with her teeth and wouldn't let go! (I didn't take her back to that one.)
Of course, being a Malinois (working line) she doesn't like strangers, or people touching her. But now she can easily be coaxed by telling her how pretty she is and that the lady wants to look into "your pretty ears", etc.
