Help! I need to find some place that will sell a very tiny quantity of canada balsam resin for not a fortune. Under $30 would be amazing. And I only need a tiny bit. Like 1 oz or even 0.5 oz would work.

It goes by a bunch of names too. Usually with art suppliers or optics places.

Thank you!!! That looks like it should work. I just found an article on using high grade clear nail polish for microscope slide preparation, and apparently the slides last for years... so I'm using some of that at the moment. I'd really like to switch over to CB at some point because it's proven to be really stable over centuries.

Gonna get some eyeball pictures soon... muahahaha.
