Sorry for the mis-information! I just searched Nikon 50mm lens. The only lens I see that is the 50mm that says 'AF-S' is like $300 MORE than the 'AF' lenses. Why is that?
So which lens would you get -from Nikon- for macro?

For macro? Specifically?
Probably the 60mm f2.8 AF-S.
But if you want more width, I'd go with the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens that has macro capabilities.
