2 questions on my GSP.

She is 11 weeks old.

# 1. For the last two weeks I have had her, her ears have been like this:

Straight up and pricked.

Now they are like this:

Hanging down and floppy.

Is this OK, is it nothing to be worried about?

# 2. Sometimes I take her off her leash on walks for a jog around the oval. When I have finished she seems pretty puffed out so I sit down with her. She pants for about 1 mintue then starts whining with small yelps sometimes. Why would she do this? As soon as I stand up, she jumps up and is ready to start walking again. If she was in pain would she not stop running?

For #1, ask your pup's breeder. For #2, I take it to mean she is either tired or anxious to continue walking. Make sure to understand the limits of your pup when it comes to exercise. Some dogs will work themselves out until they are dead-tired or injured. Also, don't forget to give her water during breaks.

She might be teething, I have heard that teething can do weird things with prick ears
