Can't believe I'm answering questions so late... whoops....
Nope, she doesn't fuss with the cone. In general, Dobe puppies don't seem to care at all about cones or posts.
It was a secret, so don't feel too bad!
Basically, it was the "perfect storm" - I'm the cobreeder of the litter so I felt brave enough to ask for a puppy. Breeder needed to keep a bitch out of this litter but realistically needed the bitch to live elsewhere. NRA desperately wanted another show dog but couldn't own another dog outright. I couldn't own another dog outright. Pick bitch was offered to us on a very nice co-ownership agreement. It was an offer we couldn't refuse.

Does she ever try to mess with the cone-thingy? Or the other dogs? I feel like I'd have trouble doing it for so long. The cone head is adorable.
