Well, what did you think it would be, with a title like that? :D

I'm not always taken with the local scenery as I've been here for 10 years and have pretty much been all around. However, once in a while everything comes together to make something that's "the same ol'" fresh and interesting.

For anyone interested in the tech. specs., this was shot using my favourite lens, the 43mm limited (close to a 50mm prime), no filters, no tripod and I brought the colours/contrast out using Aperture.

Camera: Pentax k-7 @ 1/320 second
Lens: 43mm f/1.9 @ f/5.6
ISO: 100
Adjustments:
-Boosted the contrast
-boosted the saturation and vibrancy
-tweaked the levels a bit
-resized for web posting

Thanks, Dekka! :)

I'm still loving the k-7. There's a couple of small things that I miss with the k10d, but the metering, flash, performance and WB are so much improved, I ditched the k10 a few days after the k-7 arrived. Got the 10-17 fisheye from that trade-in :D
