So when you guys go to trials/events, how much do you usually spend on entry fees?

I've been looking at Dock Diving fees and with DockDogs, to do 5 WAVES over a 3 day trialing period, would be $100. Is it normal to spend that much on entry fees for a trialing weekend?

For Rally, Conformation, (and soon Terrier Racing) I pay $15-20 per trial (some events are 2 trials/day), so $100 for 5 "runs" for a weekend would seem to be the right price. Sadly, it ain't getting any cheaper!!

$100 for three days sounds about right, yup. Usually around $70 for two days in both JWW and Standard.

Wow you guys have it good

Here a wave is 20 bucks a pop

An agility run is 18ish dollars (AAC, 25 for ckc) and its nothing to do 4 runs a day per dog each day.

I've only shown in Conformation, Rally, and Obedience but they're all priced roughly the same. It's about $28 per dog, per day, per event.

sounds about right. APDT rally here is ~$20/run. two runs per trial, two trials per day, two days in the weekend = ouch.

flyball is actually much cheaper! must do more flyball!

I do CPE agility and it's usually a package price of roughly $100 a weekend (10 runs) or $13-15 a piece. And that's the reason we do limited trialing right now :D

Victor would have adored dock diving but it is flat out not a possible. Wish it didn't cost so much.
