They grow so fast!

It seems like just yesterday that we adopted Misty. She seemed underweight to me at the time at just 8 pounds at 2 months old. Here is a picture of her not too long after we brought her home sitting by her food bucket. (forgive the messy floor!)





And here, 6 months and about 40 pounds or more later I got another picture of her next to the same food bucket:



Can't wait to see how big she is when she's full grown!

What a beautiful girl! So feminine-looking! What breed is she?

The people we adopted her from said she was a blue heeler. I had several people ask me if she was a catahoula so I looked up the breed since I'd never heard of it and she really seems to fit the descriptions (even looks like she's got the deep webbing between her toes). And one of the vets at the animal hospital I go to told me she looked like she might even have a little dane mixed in her because of her legs.
