Effect of Nuetering on Puppy Growth?

Does the age at which a pup is nuetered effect how big it will get? Someone told me that nuetering a dog early can lead to it being smaller as an adult. Is there any truth to this?

Studies have actually shown that early s/n can increase the size. Here is a link with more info:

edited to add: By increase of size I mean the height of the dog.

taller(although not by much) and sometimes less muscle. But you never really know and many dogs do eventually grow into it.
