I just got a call

from the new pet store that opened in the mall... after the old one closed down, this one snapped up the space and opened almost immediately after.

He wants to advertise with us.


I feel sick. I wanted to hang up on him so bad. I wanted to tell him just what I thought of his "puppy store."

ugh.

Ugh. Maybe you could "donate" some community service space adjacent to his ad -- for the local shelter

Or...have a little pamplet tacked up there that gives reason why you should NOT buy from a mill.

We do a lot of work with the local shelter. When I came in to work this morning everybody was telling me about the cute dog that is our sponsored pet this week (I usually come in too late so I don't get to see the dogs or kitties when they come in!) We're good buddies with people over there.


I just hate it. I hope he ends up being too cheap to advertise with us. Ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh UGH.
