There is a super sweet bull terrier at Rocky Ridge who is in desperate need of a forever home. She is dog aggressive. She will not react at dogs just being around but if they get close or make contact, yes, she will go full out. Besides being a bull terrier she was also left to fend pretty much for herself as a brood dog so I am sure a lot of it is defensive as well.
But she is a TOTAL lover with people. She has some issues, hard of hearing and sight, her knees are messed up....but oh my, she is just a wonderful dog. Because of her DA she can not live in the house with the other dogs at the refuge. She really needs a home to call her own, a bed to sleep on, a human to snuggle with.
She is great with kids too!
