Our Goofy New Addition

Can he get any cuter?

This is Kobe (that's the name he came with, we're probably changing it though). He's a 7 month old Lab/Dane mix and I'm in love! He's such a good, goofy boy dog.

He's settling in well, we brought him home last night. His family couldn't keep him because their jerk of a landlord decided he looked like a pit bull. It was incredibly hard getting him last night, very, very emotional and he was super freaked out by all the weird.

He's doing good though! He is still weirded out a bit but is having zoomies in the yard, following us around room from room. He's just SUCH a mooshy boy dog and a big "Touch me! Cuddle me! I'm a lap dog!"

He's a great size, not huge but a lot of filling out to do. His back is just above my knee so really not a giant dog. I'm sure he'll grow a bit more but I like his size.

Didgie likes him and Traveler wants him to go far, far away because Traveler would like to be an only dog with a harem of people to spend all day telling him how pretty he is.

He's got some major boing too! He bounces straight up, all four feet all the time.

How on EARTH does someone mistake him for a pit bull??

He is so pretty! I hope he continues to settle in nicely.

Of course!! I'm hoping he's going to be my 'extra' for dog park trips since Didgie and Traveler don't often get to go with eachother.

I seriously have no idea, he looks nothing like one except he has a big head and is black and white? Does that make a dog a pit bull?

Oh yeah! He's a stress drooler too so we've had some major strings hanging from his mouth.

I don't know if he's white enough, though he has the goof part down He'll be completely left behind when that dog manages to show up for the 3rd time in a row when you're there.

Hahahaa! Her obsession with that dog just cracks me up. She still needs to meet Squash, I imagine he will cause her head to explode.

He's got that "Hai. I'm a goofy derp of a boy dog" look down pat! Love it!

He's adorable! Is he your new dog (instead of the greyhound you had been talking about) or is he a family dog?

Family dog but I'm passing on the greyhound because we added him and I'll be doing his training and stuff.

When it's not gross out I'm going to go see if he likes frisbees. He's also had his first training session, it's fun training a not herding breed of my own for a change!

I KNOW.

It completely reaffirms that I am such a boy dog person.
