Hello! This is my new dog, Bo. We got him from a shelter a few months ago.

We were told he is a combination of a Brussels Giffon, Cairn Terrier, or Yorkie.

I'd just love a second opinion.. I personally believe that he is part Otter! haha

THANKS!

I moved this to the breed section, where I think it'll get more attention.

He could be a cairn mix. But I'm not very good when it comes to guessing those cute little terrier mixes. He's adorable, whatever he is!

I do see Griffon in the pugnacious expression and domed skull...given the relative popularity due to that movie...I'd buy someone mixing it into Yorkie or Cairn for certain. It's the "in" thing to do now.

Congrats on your new pooch!
I agree with everyone else I defiantly see Brussels Griffon and Carin Terrier.

I'd say he does look a bit like a Brussles--here are some pics of my Honey gal for comparison:

Obviously your little guy has a snout though--which good Brussels do not (some poorly breed do though)--maybe mixed with yorkie?

Just a note that Brussels are a double coating breed that if you want a nice coat you need to hand strip (which means pretty much pinching clumps of hair for hours)
