Yeah, Molly knows 'quiet' as well. She likes to talk, lol, especially when we have visitors. She doesn't bark AT them, just talks to them and tries to con them into playing.
I think some dogs just aren't vocal enough. My first dog would only bark if something was really upsetting her. Even then it would only be one woof, and she'd look surprised as though she didn't expect that noise to come out of her.
