I'm a little bit surprised Juno grew up to not care about fireworks. Her first 4th of July, I thought we were screwed as far as noise phobias go. She was 4 months old and as soon as fireworks started going off, she ran under a bed completely terrified and I had to drag her out hours later. I'm not sure how we bounced back from that lol.

Nola was scared, which shocked me. She's never been nervous of fireworks, but last night she was a jumpy, barking, shaking mess. I gave her some calming tablets and wrapped her in a blanket in my lap, and she settled down some. I wish I'd have had our Thundershirt, too bad it's being shipped here!

Elsie didn't like them, but once I let her into my lap she was fine.

Zobby watched them.

Zoey glanced at the first couple and decided they didn't matter and went to sleep.

We watched a display from a mile away or so; it was really nice.

The coonhounds pant & look stressy and Rage won't go out to potty until the next day, so we just crated them when we left and I imagine they stressed some but stayed in their crates (which was a concern). Keena & Daisy came with us to Malibu for the day to eat fattening food & watch the fireworks and play with kids at the park. They were great!

His breeder did a sound CD for them as puppies..
plus he lives in a city next to a fire station and symphony :rofl1: noise does not concern him.

He slept through them.
