Do you think a shelter with a dog with ONE day left would let the dog be transported out-of-state? And who wants to drive an ADORABLE six month old pittie puppy to NY? GOD OH NO WHY DO I DO THIS?

I made the mistake of going there yesterday and I viewed the "in memorial" page...it's all the dogs that were listed and not adopted. I did try to contact one of the organizations about a dog they had listed and they were not willing to make any concessions to get the dog out of state and into a no-kill rescue facility. They wanted a $189.50 adoption fee that would supposedly "cover shots"...I decided that I would not go looking for trouble, so I will not be surfing that site.

Oh, I'm kinda depress right now after clicking that.
