Lady Chesh is the first cat I've used them on. I would be perfectly happy just clipping her claws, but my mother has never had a cat in the house that wasn't declawed, and she insists on the caps. Since she watches her for me when I do rescue transport, her word is law.

I've been having a real issue with the last application. Most of the caps shed naturally, but two haven't fallen off in over 16 weeks. Her claws have grown out to the point where the caps are acutally almost touching her little pads.

I clipped through the cap to keep her feet healthy, but how to I prevent this from happening in the future? I use the right amount of glue, and the others came off ok.
