Vpi Pet Insurance?

I was thinking about sigining my puppy up for this insurance. I was wondering if anyone here has ever used it and if it is a good idea?

Ya know, I really have no idea. I didn't even KNOW about pet insurance until yesterday when I was browsing around in the clinics computer and a diagnosis came up labeled INSUR and sure enough it turned out to be a claim on dog insurance.

I have it for my boy and got after a friend of mine paid over $12,000 to repair his GSD after her spleen ruptured. I figure at only $19.00 a month it is worth it. I get the superior plan which covers MRI, Xrays, and other diagnostics as well as treatment for cancer and such. I didn't get the routine care coverage because if I can't afford routine care like shots etc. then I shouldn't own a dog!
