Also called ASMR... what triggers it for you if anything does?

One of the biggest ones for me is a dog chewing on a bone. I can fall asleep to that sound any day. It's a really relaxing sound for some reason.

Another one is horses munching on grass/hay

Getting my hair washed at the hair salon when they massage your head and the sound of the scissors when you are getting your hair cut.

People talking to each other in a calm voice, but not directly talking to me

The sound of someone writing or drawing something with pencil or coloring something

I know I have more, but can't think right off the bat

Don't know if it is exactly ASMR, but I do find a few things very relaxing.

The sound of a lawn mower and the smell of cut grass.

The smell of a car shop on clothes. Oil, grease, grime, metal. (And yet, the smell of a shop does nothing for me when I'm actually in the shop. It has to be on someones clothes.)

Car rides, especially if there is soft music or quiet talking.

The sound of a fan, especially if the background noise is birdsong, frogs, or crickets.

A fan. I can't sleep without one.

computer tower fans i cannot sleep unless theres a noisy humming computer in the room

People gently brushing my hair or playing with it/braiding/etc. I'm just all like, gggnnaaaaaarrrrrrrr *meltintogooo*. If that's what it feels like when people pet dogs and cats on the head, I can totally understand why they get so pushy about demanding it. lol

Lol I make SO braid\play with my hair every night. I told him it's better than sex. Any kind of head massage.

Being on the water or in a vehicle. The rocking motion connects with me.

Fans, the voice thing, stening to constant high revs like a motorcycle or F1 race... Test drives...that one isn't quite as helpful, LOL
