A Little Funny For You

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
There was a creature stirring and it wasn't a mouse !
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that Whiskey could not get them there
Mama in nightie and papa in buff
Had just settled down thinking E -NUFF !!!
When out in the living room there was such a clatter
We sprang from the bed yelling " Now what's the matter ???"
Away to the living room we flew in a flash
Arriving in time to whitness the crash
The beautiful tree all shinning with glitter
Now lay on the floor all rubble and litter
We looked round the room for the culpret to see
And among the mess stood WHISKEY
With a wag of his stump where a tail should be
We knew then we would need a smaller tree
We heard him think as he walked down the hall
" So this is Christmas, Gee what a ball "

LOL, I am suddenly having preminitions of doom and disaster in my living room. Maybe I should set up an ex-pen around the tree.

btw this did not really happen as I don't put a tree up but was a thought of what might be and my feeble attemp to spread some holiday humor

I gave up on the idea of a tree a long long time ago. Cats climb them. They like to hide inside the branches, remove the ornaments and pee in the stand.

Here's a family that records yearly the systematic destruction of their tree, with hysterical photos. This should cure anyone.
