While these are not what I would call "good" lol, they were fun and tasted yummy. Made for Cian's 5th bday at his request. The animals were red velvet and the eggs were carrot cake:)

Those are fun! Very nice work. :)

I just recently learned how to make cake balls/cake pops here, as well. It's a dangerous situation. LOL!

They were at least fun to make and luckily, I am not a perfectionist so was not worried about them looking right:) Still wondering if fondant wouldve been easier to work with or maybe modeling chocolate? Maybe will play around next time. MIL usually makes the cakes (she used to make wedding cakes even) but last year she was injured and Cian fell in love with cake balls

And while I am sharing might as well add some more....

I dipped them in white chocolate, or technically candy melts...and then piped shapes out of them for the eyebrows, feathers, snouts, beaks, etc. They eyeballs I bought, made out of royal icing.
