I have 2 of these, one for kibble and one for treats :) They hold 40-50lbs of kibble.

Just the bag. :p
I had a so-called air-tight bin I got at Target that the cats and the dogs worked on so much they broke the lid off. Now I just keep it in the bags and put the bags in a cupboard.

Finn has a 30-lb capacity airtight bin, forget the brand but it looks similar to Hilly's. June has the same brand bin but different style and for 15lb.

The ferrets have a Vittles Vault that has room enough for a 3 month supply of food. I want to switch Finn and June to one too so I save some space!

An old plastic bin with some stick tack shoved in the two holes so ants can't get in. Works.

I just have a big storage bin with a lid that snaps on. and slid it under the stairs. So a beagel cant break in, or a cat for that matter a collie wouldnt even try too lol. It holds about 20lbs of food. so I pour half a bag. use it all then refill. I used to just reclose the bag. But with a food hound and a cat hound. its not possible as both will open the bag and eat. I have caught the cat inside of it before eating. She is worse then the beagle for trying to steal food lol

I really do love it, plus I get to pretend I'm at the casino and I'm a winner (of kibble) with every pull! :rofl1:

I am very fortunate to have gotten it at no charge about 10 years ago. My husband's company purchased a few of these for dispensing manufacturing parts and it didn't work out as planned, their solution was to throw them out! So my husband and another guy each brought one home.........they use theirs for garage floor kitty litter! LOL

That's what I use. However, I don't pour the food into the container. I stand the bag up in it instead.

I had one of those for years. They're great if you're emptying the bag into the container. It became a PITA, tho, when I decided to start keeping Caleb's food in the bag.

Right now all kibble is kept in the bag, inside a large plastic bin with a lid. In the past I've transferred from that to a small rubbermaid bin for 2 week or so portions.

Cynder's food is just kept in the bag under the kitchen sink. I'd like to get a container for it, though, because keeping it in the bag bugs me as it can't close.

Chloe and Rose's food are in what I'll call trash cans, I suppose. They have a flip lid that latches on the top. You hit the button on the lid and it pops open.

I keep the ferret food in an old dog bone container. It's plastic and has a tight fitting lid, so it works really well. It also has a handle, which is nice. It can hold around 20 pounds of food, I think.

I really love using a food container vs the bag now! But we had to get them because we get ants on and off and had to get something the ants can't get into!
