Eye problem

This just started a couple hours ago, but my dog seems to be having problems with one of her eyes. Her right eye isn't opening all the way, her pupil looks like a different shape than the other one, it sometimes rolls into the back of her head, and there's a filmy substance covering it.

What could this be?

I have no idea, but I'd be calling a vet. That's really not normal.

^^^^ Agree ! It could be irritation from the eyelid and the second lid is protecting .... but there's a reason .

So I just got back from the animal hospital. They ran three different tests. They stained her eyes, checked her tear production, and measured her eye pressure. Everything came back normal and now her eyes looks fine.

Vet said it could have been her third eyelid acting a little whacky.

Whoops .... I said 2nd .... I lost an eyelid !

I've had that happen........but am sooo glad you decided to see a vet to be sure.

The vet acted like I was crazy for bringing her in. HA! Oh well, better to be safe than sorry.
