My loving Brown Hamster, Buddy. He passed away when I was visiting my dad for the weekend. My mom called my dad's house and told me and I broke down. I still have some pics of him, if I can find them, and I still have a journal I wrote about him.

Sam-(seal point siamese applehead)died at 19 when I was 13, still have his photo on my desk

Isabelle-(Black Persian)died before she even turned one year old from inherited immune problems, got her from a bad breeder when I was 15 with my first paycheck. Promised myself if I ever became a breeder I would never put anyone else through that heartache.

Beauregard-(Saint Bernard) ex husband put him to sleep as revenge when I left him. He was still a puppy.

ozzy-boston terrier:lol didnt like kids kept running away to this old man who loved him and brought him back once, then he just kept him, and we found out but he seemed happier there.
boggles-beagle...got a seizure and was so bad got brain damage died..
smitty-died when i was little of old age

Thanks guys. Its still bittersweet to think of Beau, he was such a sweet boy, he would sleep on my feet under the desk and keep them warm, he was such a sweetheart I miss him so much. I'm hoping my luck changes as far as dogs are concerned with these two. I know it is horrible of me but I keep hoping I will get to keep them. I know i'm setting myself up for potential heartbreak but I can't help it.

Snickers~ Long-haired syrian hamster, lived to be about 11 months old but I must have left his cage open, he got out and Molly got to him while I was at school...

Stormy~ Another long-haired syrian hamster, he was about 8 months old when he died and I have no idea why.

Snoopi~ Once again long-haired syrian lol, she had a bit of an attitude but I loved her anyway. She was also about 11 months old, died in her sleep...

Squirt~ My sweet, squishy PEW rattie. He died just a week ago, 13 months old. I still miss him so much and I know his cagemate, Nemo, does too.

There have also been some fishies...and an iguana and a gecko, but because those were my brother's, I don't really remember them, and I wasn't involved with them at all.

I beleive that is it that I was involved with directly if i counted all the other seld dogs my parents have ever owned this would be a very long list of past pets.

Dogs-
Tippy (sheltie/dachshund mix)- Childhood dog lived to be 13
Suzi - dog I got in the 10 -11 th grade. Died 9 years old.
Barny - chow/malamute mix. Lived till 12 years
Luke - great dane/ spitz mix. Lived till 11 1/2 years.
Shiloh - lab. 4 years old.
Charlie - lab. 2 years old.
Rocket - GSD. 1 1/2 years old.


Cats-
Penny - lived till 21 years old. The best cat ever!!!!
Bud - Slipped out of our house, died at 3 1/2 years. Hit by a car.

Bird-
Snowy - parakeet. He is almost 3 years.



I have many other dogs that I saved from the "pound" and rehomed and had them for different time lengths, but always knew they were not home.
I used to take pictures every week, for our local paper of the pups and dogs in the pound. I could not resist and saved and rehomed many lives.
Until a case of rabies effected my family, and I have been unable to help the local pound since. Maybe when my children are grown, I can go back to helping again.

Peanut's my first mammalian buddy, but I've lost my fair share of aquatic animals. There was:

Gary- My bullhead catfish I accidentely saved from a snake. I was in 5th grade when he died and I gotta say, it hit me HARD when I found him belly up in his bowl. (looong story).

Bonnie and Clyde- My breeding pair of swordtails. They were really tame and even ate from my hand. Bonnie had about 30 fry in the community tank. I discovered her giving birth at 3am and had to clear out a spare tank for her ASAP. Their deaths were also sad.

Sesshomaru- Albino rainbow shark. Most beautiful fish I have ever had.

Lizzy- Fire belly newt killed by my angelfish, Maverick.

Maverick- Angelfish killed by friends oscar.

Shadow- Male betta that developed some sort of infection and was sucked into the siphon during a water change. Weird accident.

Cory- Corydoras that died for some reason I dont know.

Pitbull- Tiny female bullfrog I adopted from petsmart as a tadpole. She was eaten alive by my larger bullfrog, Beans.

And theres about 20 more fish I've lost when I was younger due to inexperience.

Peanut- about 2 or 3 year old cat, not sure what breed, maybe a little orange Tabby
Rain- about 1 year old cat my grandma found in her garden in the rain, once again, breed unknown, but looks like Peanut

Hamsters/Gerbils

Nalla- No idea what breed, I was three when I had her
Zoro-male regular gerbil, cage door was left open and he went out and we were babysitting a cat named Elliot...Elliot didnt like zoro very much... you know what happened next

Sharky- Red Tailed Shark
Quite a few angelfish
Quite a few frogs which all got stuck in the filter

Sancho: Black lab pup, had to rehome him when we moved
Meisha: Rescue, dobe mix, lived to be 12-ish then died of cancer/old age

Past Others
Crystal: teddy bear hamster--I don't remember what happened to her
Tweety: blue/green parakeet--died three days after I got it. This was when Wal-Mart still sold pets.
Aspen: Blue/white parakeet--lived for two years and eventually starved to death because it would always toss all of it's seed out of the cage instead of eating it, despite my repeated attempts to the contrary. Oh, and I was 11.
Arakasi: betta--my mom accidently killed it last fall
Unnamed: green juvinile betta who's name I have actually since forgotten. he died about a week after I got him, reason unknown. Ungrateful little fish.

There's a bunch of rabbits and cats from my grandma's farm that we would play with and name. Then the rabbits would get butchered in the fall and the kitties would run off to parts unknown. Then there's the assorted aqarium fish that never got any names past "Neons 4, 5 and 6; Gourami 1; Swordtail 3..."
