Misty does that every now and again, usually I give her a bath and a good face rinse and it helps quite a bit.

I also have some eye rinse that helps.

Double check that his whiskers aren't poking him in the eyeball or near his eye. I have two that occasionally need a whisker trim.

You can use some eye rinse on it, but if it continues like that, I'd have him to the vet sooner rather than later. If he has a scratch on his cornea, they can become pretty ugly pretty quickly.

I agree with elegy, if he doesn't open it soon, I wouldn't mess around with his eye.

Is it horrible that I went "OMG HE JUST GOT CUTER" when I saw the first pic? :rofl1:

Buddy, our Dachshund-mix did this last year. His eye was totally closed. Vet dropped some stuff in there and turned it green and you could see a big scratch on his cornea - don't know what it was from still, but he was opening his eye again that night after the vet took care of it and gave some meds. I wouldn't mess with eyes either!
