Do you leave the TV on?

I have never heard of a tv catching fire I do it my parents do it and we have never had a fire..............

occasionally i will leave the tv on for them. but i am nervous about it because a client once came in and told us how she had left her tv on for her cats and her apartment burnt down because the tv exploded while she was at work. i know it was probably a freak thing but still the thought is there when i leave it on. so i usually just leave it on if i am just running out for a quick trip.
