MY 17 month old dog is shaking/trembling right now. He had his rabies and distemper shot two days ago. Could this be the reason?

Maxy24,

he can move and he is responsive. As of right now, he seems OK again. He's been a little off since the shots. I wonder if I should give him a children's size aspirin.

Does he seem to be in any pain? Also what breed is he and did they give him anything other than the shots? (heartworm meds, flea and tick preventative etc.)

It's probably a reaction to the shots. He might be running a fever. Call the vet and see what they say.

I'm not sure if he's in pain but yesterday when he was lying on the bed with my wife and son, my son touched him and he squealed.

My dog is a lab terrier mix, 17 months old, and no, he didn't get any other medication. He has been on heartworm meds for months.

As far as being cold, my house is kept around seventy degrees. I did put a blanket on him.

As of this time, he seems more like himself.

Thanks to all! I'll keep a close eye on him.
