HI!! My name is Faith and I'm a "dog mom" to a 6 month old lab/husky female named Ruby. We rescued her when she was 6 weeks old. We love her to pieces!! I did a lot of research before we got Ruby. I wanted to be prepared for everything; chewing, housetraining, obedience training, etc. But I was NOT prepared for how much I would totally fall in love with her!! She's like another child!! Before we had her, I always loved dogs, but was one of those people who thought a dog had its place. Ha!! All my rules went out the window!! She is definetly part of the family. She lays on the couch with us and sleeps in our bed. I take her eveywhere! I love having her. I was very happy to find this forum! We're still pretty new to the puppy thing and need the help! And I wanted to be in the company of some other dog obsessed people.
