Florida pictures!

I finally got to have my camera glued to my hands again! I forgot how much more complete I feel that way. The bf and I went to Florida for a few days last week and while I took a million and a half shots, I will only force a select handful on to you.

My goal for the week was to do pretty much nothing but this. Achievement unlocked!

We stayed with his mom at her apartment in Sarasota. There is a huge pond surrounded by trees and such, making for a very good wildlife watching spot. My favorite was this crane. There was also a GINORMOUS alligator snapping turtle. I mean it was big enough I was convinced for a couple days it was a small alligator.

We went to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, which featured the best koi pond I've seen in a good long while.

I have some pictures of the mangroves we kayaked through looking for manatees on my Facebook. I didn't want to take my Nikon just in case we tipped or something.

Fantastic photos! Next time I go on vacation I'm going to bring you along so that you can take wonderful pictures for me to remember it by.
