New camera = Adorable cavalier

Hi everyone,

I'm not longer a regular here but hopefully you all remember my great little cav Ollie. Today I became the proud owner of a Nikon D50, so of course I've been tormenting the dog.

The experts might be able to help here, correctly exposing white dogs?? I love this picture I took (one of the first I've taken) but I think the white fur is over exposed.



And here's his duck.. just cause!
