No mo dreads! (pics)

I finally gave up on ever finding my thinning shears again and just got another pair... so I finally did the work on Auggie's ears I've been wanting to do for months, since the first pair vanished...

Auggie is not amused... first a bath, then I trimmed his paws, and THEN I trimmed up his ears... SIGH. Life is so hard.

Closeup on the front. He's still nice and spikey, has plenty of personality still... just has fewer annoying (to me) hairs! Particularly that one long chunk of hair that always flops down right on top of his ear...


I think he could still use a little bit more work, but this is all I'm brave enough to do on my own. I think I will take my shears with us to his breeder's Tuesday, and ask her to finish the job and show me how to do it!

I still say Auggie has the most adorable Collie face ever
