Well its not a breed. Its a mix. You don't get a distinct type when you cross two breeds. That said at least these breeds are somewhat close.
I have whippets and I can say they are happy out going very active dogs. They are great with my child (8). Whippets can't take the cold (well mine can but they have long hair which is very rare) and are comfort loving dogs. Keeping one in a yard would be mean. They love to be with their people. They are smart dogs but not the easiest to train. Like most sighthounds they don't like repetitions.
Iggies are similar but less out going. Iggies are also pretty delicate dogs and can break easier than most breeds. They REALLY don't do well with any cold and are very comfort loving. They are also sighthounds.
This means that you should never let this dog off leash even with lots of training in an unfenced area. It will take a lot of training to have a good recall, but things like loose leash walking should be fairly easy.
