There is an idea starting in the UK about having a National rescue Dog Day
to try to change the new Animal Rights bill,
Try to change government policies, let them realise how much it is costing the councils to deal with strays.
Change to charge breeders for breeding and fines for breeding mongrels
etc
I am trying to find out what other countries do, see if they do some things differently, what works for them so our government cant say "it wont work" And trying to find out what people are passionate about, we all have a part of the dog world that drives us, weather it be working in a rescue, working as a dog warden etc
so would like to know how things work in other contries regarding rescue Dogs
