Has one had one of these done (like what Mordy does)? I was talking to a friend of mine and she has had someone formulate the diet for all of her dogs.

Have you noticed a difference in the health of your dog since doing this?

My advice is to research your nutritionist heavily before following diet. One of the most popular "nutritionists" in this area is a vet who prescribes grain laden food and CORN OIL to dogs with coat problems.

But there are definitely some good ones out there, and I think it's a great thing if you can find someone who knows what they're talking about.

We had a nutrition consult done with a holistic vet when Elle was young and didnt want to eat... it was a lot of moola, a lot of a travel time, and a HUGE waste of money.

I could have gotten the same or better info researching on my own for free.

Make sure you know what you want and are sure you cant get it on your own, know what you are paying for and what you will be getting for your money.

I've had several consultations done. I found the ones that were needed for specific ailments/conditions the most helpful and very necessary at the time.

I recently had raw/homecooked consultations and I wasn't very happy with them.
