Large-ish, medium haired, friendly and active...

No kids, no cats, lives in California.

There are a LOT of eligible dogs in CA! Can you narrow my search area a little? (a city to look around, northern part, middle, southern etc.). Does she have a color preference? Anything in a dog she finds unacceptable? Any breeds she most certainly does not want that would be in the mix? (obviously not smaller breeds, I'm finding a lot of chows, Goldens, Aussies, Border collies, Shepherds etc.) and does she have an age limit (no older than...)

The obvious choice is a nicely bred female GSD!

She's in Redlands, CA. Color preference is solid, no spots or whatever and preferrably not brown (?? whatever, lol) She hasn't said any breeds she doesn't want, though. She was going today to look at a 6 m/o BC pup she found on craigs list whose owner didn't realize she was going to get so big.

Assuming she didn't take the BC (if she did she needs to join Chaz and post pics ), I'm going to start slowly trickling in some dogs I've found, Some might be too far from her, i don't really know anything about CA and am using a map to at least not try to get any that are on the other side of the state.
